    *gathers poppy seeds and pads toward a small stream *Oh Catmint.*gathers some then heads towards some borage and takes some*

    [Swims in stream. Grabs some burdock root to give to the medicine cat, and hunts a pidgeon and a squirrel for the Medicine cat and her apprentice.]

    *Is resting, when she ears a loud commotion* What is that? *Looks up to see Mistpaw and Nightpaw fleeing from a badger* MY KITS!!!!

    I was resting and heard the commotion, so I looked, and saw you two. I couldn't just stand there!

    LOOK OUT!!!! *Shoves Mistpaw and Willowmoon out of the way of the badger's paw just in time*
    Nightpaw
    *Gasps* Look...
    Willowmoon
    MORE BADGERS!?!?! Uh oh....*2 more badgers appear over the hill*

    *Stares transfixed*
    Nightpaw
    NIGHTPAW!!!! LOOK OUT!!!! *A badger's paw swipes Nightpaw, and a shattering crack can be heard. Nightpaw crumples*
    NIGHTPAW!!!
    Mistpaw
    Mistpaw, come with me. Get Nightpaw, and let's get back to camp before the badgers respot us. Oh Nightpaw.... *Licks the top of his head* He's barely breathing, so be careful. *Lifts Nightpaw with Mistpaw*

    *Flees back to camp*

    Walks into the clearing and breathes in the smell of wild flowers and herbs. She turns her elegant head and spots a flourishing patch of water mint. She takes a huge mouthful and is temted to eat it but remembers her mission and holds fast. Then she collects some comfrey and trots quickly to the medicine cat den
